The Perils of a Proud Taxi Driver

My sister and I said our goodbyes as she alighted from a shared cab. However, before she had even closed the door, the driver took off. Concerned over the driver’s aggressive behavior, I received a SMS from her just a few minutes after she alighted.
I replied that I was alright and there was no need to change cabs.
I think the driver is one of those who don’t like being told where to go. Basically, my sister and he had a verbal tussle over the directions, and, he took it out on her by being rude when she got down.
Actually, what he did also endangered the car because if the door hadn’t closed properly, it could have swung open and hit something.
