Irritated Bus Passenger Makes A Face at Me

I don’t like being squeezed in between two passengers in the three seater section of the bus. And I don’t like having to squeeze past other passengers on the way to the aisle if I’m seated beside the window. So, I always make sure I’m on the aisle seat even if it means being continuously bumped by alighting and boarding bus passengers.
A mature woman boarded and stayed on the aisle beside where I was seated, silently demanding for me to move to the middle position.
I responded by swinging my legs to the aisle, making room for her to pass me and sit between the other bus passenger and I.
She did so grumpily, glaring at me as she did so, and still glaring at me repeatedly as the bus traveled along EDSA.
I debated whether to tell her that I was going off soon, or let her continue stewing in her own irritated broth.
I told her, “Malapit na po akong bumaba (I’m very near my stop).”
She softened a little bit and replied, “A, ganoon ba? Dapat sinabi mo. (Is that so? You should have told me.)”
I refrained myself from telling her that, in the first place, she had no right to the information and the aisle seat that she coveted.
