MRT Stored Value Card Loses Its Load

When the turnstile rejected my stored value card (SV) upon exit at the Ayala MRT station, I went to the stored value window to have it checked. The MRT staff member immediately returned the card and said it was okay. Despite his positive verdict, I felt that it would still be rejected. And then I remembered that I had used another SV card upon entry at the Cubao MRT station, which is what I used to finally exit the Ayala MRT station.
However, the next day, when I tried to use the mistaken SV card, it was once again rejected, and I was informed that all the load has been deleted because I used it in the Ayala MRT station, and the two-hour limit for the exit code has already passed, which makes the deduction of the remaining Php 16 automatic.
Senior Transportation Development Officer Nestor C. Real said that the ticketing agent at the MRT Ayala station should have clarified and corrected the stored value card when I submitted it to him.
Since the SV card cannot be used any more, I simply requested Mr. Real that the remaining Php 16 load be returned to me.
Thus, I am now the recipient of two MRT station passes.
