It’s nicer to pass through Shangri-La Plaza Mall to get to the MRT Shaw station, which has access to the mall on the 5th level.
Aside from making the trek to the MRT Shaw station easier with its escalators and air-conditioning, the Christmas decorations that festoon the nooks as well as the wide open spaces of the Shangri-La Plaza Mall add a festive spirit to all passersby, as one spies the decor lining the space in between escalators or the gigantic versions of the traditional parol hanging overhead.
