The MRT Guard Dog Likes My Dance Boots

I already spied the guard dog noticing the glittering stones that I had tied to my dance boots as I hurried to catch the train at the MRT Cubao - Araneta Center station; but, since I didn’t have anything else that could possibly interest the K-9 unit, I just kept a couple of feet between the black dog and I.
However, I felt something soft against my leg as I passed the canine, and then I heard an urgent concerned voice say, “Ma’am!”
When I glanced down, it was to see the dog sniffing against my calf area. I instinctively knew that he wasn’t interested in biting me but just wanted to satisfy his curiosity about the strange shiny objects that he saw. And, given that the dog handler was already aware of the situation, I didn’t feel that I was in any danger, so I continued to walk urgently since I was already late for the Clear Black Night Halloween Dance Event at Taste Asia at the Mall of Asia on 31 October 2008.
