Passing by Nestle Creamery on Aurora Blvd. in Quezon City on 25 August 2008 alerted me to the fact that today is National Banana Split Day. The tarpaulin by the side of Nestle Creamery announced the special day, a salutation to an all time favorite that I was unaware of till now. And to commemorate the classic cold treat, Nestle Creamery is offering Banana Splits at only Php 49! Darn! Maybe next year…
