How to Get from Robinsons Metro East to Cubao via FX

FX Ali Mall The cheapest and best way to get to Ali Mall Cubao from Robinsons Metro East on Marcos Highway is to ride a FX with an Ali Mall sign. The one-way fare is Php 20. However, these FX are few and far in between. And, they are in demand so there’s always a mad scramble when one is sighted.
FX Aurora Then, there’s the FX that goes to Aurora Cubao. However, be prepared to walk a little bit since the FX turns off from Aurora and and then ends up on one of the side streets that’s near Gateway Mall.
Combo of FX Aurora and FX Ali Mall Since I frequent Ali Mall, what I usually do is a combination of both. Since the FX Aurora are plentiful compared to the FX Ali Mall, I ride one from Robinsons Metro East till Katipunan, where I alight and then wait for a FX Ali Mall, which comes from the Marikina area. Of course, this will mean that the fare will end up being higher, i.e., two Php 12 rides equals Php 24 instead of the one way fare of Php 20.
One can also ride the LRT 2 from Katipunan to the Gateway Mall Araneta Center Cubao station.
