Krispy Kreme Freebie for Makati Pedestrians

When I passed through the underground pedestrian crossing at the corner of Ayala Avenue and Paseo de Roxas on 15 August 2008, I saw signs urging pedestrians to turn on their Bluetooth device since the area is a Blu-Zone. The Pearl and Dean poster ads promised a freebie confirmation will arrive via a Bluetooth message.
In another part of the underground pedestrian crossing, there was an image of a Krispy Kreme cup full of coffee with the same promise of a freebie through a Bluetooth message, which leads me to believe that the famous doughnut shop is giving away the freebie.
Since I have to pass the same underground pedestrian crossing later today, I’m planning to bring my seldom used PDA with the Bluetooth function. I just might end up with a free cup of coffee from Krispy Kreme… (Update: I was in too much of a hurry today so wasn’t able to pass by. I took a cab instead.)
