Accenture Sponsors Free UP Ikot Jeepney Rides on Tuesdays

My friend and I were disconcerted when we couldn’t get into an Ikot jeep in the University of the Philippines (UP) on a Tuesday last July. Finally, we were able to discern a “FREE RIDE” sign painted on the jeep’s side, which explained the almost constant full state of the UP Ikot jeepneys.
I asked a UP student about this and she explained that the free rides are only on Tuesdays, and for the rest of the days, a fare is exacted from the students.
I’m surmising that call center company Accenture, which has its advertising sign on top, sponsors all the free UP Ikot rides. I wonder what is the arrangement between Accenture and the regular Ikot jeepney drivers. Does Accenture pay them their boundary and profit so as not to raise any protests for being unable to charge on Tuesdays?
